This service is not running under the (Ubuntu) Linux Subsystem for Windows.<\/p>\n<p>If enabled port 22 is open and you can login with a local user. The user must be in the <em>Ssh Users<\/em> group. With a Microsoft account the username is the one displayed at <code>lusrmgr.msc<\/code><\/p>\n<p>Configuration for this can be found at the registry on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><code>HKLM\/System\/CurrentControlSet\/Control\/Ssh\/Broker<\/code><\/li>\n<li><code>HKLM\/System\/CurrentControlSet\/Control\/Ssh\/Sftp<\/code><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Both of which are read-only except for TrustedInstaller. The configuration seems to be similar to OpenSSH since Microsoft is building a custom implementation for Windows.
